SYNOPSIS

This book is a reflection of my life up to 2000, looking at specific situations and the way they were dealt with at the time.  Going on a journey to find the person I lost due to compromises over the years.  It takes into consideration the way I feel and react to  others on a daily basis, and occasionally whether I let them into my immediate circle as friends or choose to see them as colleagues.  Treating others fairly and helping where possible to achieve their goals in life because helping them reach their goals aid me to reach mine. It looks at my strengths, weaknesses, my fears and hopes in the past, the present and for the future.

Going back to find the person renew my belief in myself, beliefs that got eroded over the years due to putting others aspirations and goals before my own.  I know that I might not achieve everything I set out to achieve but I know I will not accomplish anything unless I believe in myself, with this in mind I look at where I was before I wrote this book and what I am at the time I put pen to paper and where I want to be which resulted in my having to analysed decisions made in terms of good and bad.  Improving on the good decisions and rethink the bad ones has made a real difference.

By writing this book, I hope to help others like myself look at circumstances and if they relate to them then learn from it and most importantly avoid the mistakes.

Looking at self and re-affirming that no one change things for the individual, the  individual has to do it her/himself.  This takes on board ones attitudes, decisions made and seizing opportunities when they present themselves. I also try not to transmit doubts and insecurities but give confidence and hope remembering that we have the most innate capacity to distinguish right from wrong, which provides us with a formidable power in our search for a richer and more rewarding life.
