Please bear in mind that it is more common if some is overweight or if sitting for long periods sloughing. Back pain where upper or lower back can occur at any age and it affects both male and female equally. The cause of low back pain include:-
Most back pain are caused by minor damage to ligaments and muscles in the back. This may occur from sitting or standing in the wrong position, straining the muscles when lifting or twisting from being overweight, this could occur by a 'slipped disc' or disease in the spine itself such as arthritis. There are plenty of medical causes, from arthritis to muscle tears, to abnormal curvature of the spine known as scoliosis. It is worth seeing your doctor the first time you develop back pain to rule out treatable medical problems, especially if you are very young. But it's often not worth getting too hung up on the cause - in most cases a doctor won't be able to offer an explanation, although an osteopath, chiropractor or physiotherapist might give you a very reasonable elucidation. You can seek help such as the manipulative therapies early as possible when treatment is most effective and before acute problems develop. Its possible to prevent low back pain or reduce the chance that your problem will recur. Fitness and having a strong back and good posture will reduce the risk. It is important to make home and work environment 'back friendly' e.g. avoid poor designed furniture, chairs which slope the wrong way and do not give support to the lumbar spine, soft beds, soft pillows, work surfaces at inappropriate height. Learn to lift safely without putting undue strain on your back. If you develop back problem, seeing a Massage Therapist is the way to go.
